Our triple malt whisky is the marriage of rye, single malt, and heather and peat smoked single malt, to create a complex yet smooth taste, adding hints of smoke and spice to Stauning’s signature Rye Whisky.

Matured in a selection of virgin American white oak barrels, and first-fill fortified wine and spirits oak casks, delivering notes of citrus fruits, subtle smoke, and sweet spice. Crafted with local rye and barley grains that are 100% floor malted and kiln-dried in the distillery. Using traditional techniques matched with intention and simplicity, Stauning’s exceptional whisky-making process is a celebration of nature, artistry, and exceptional quality.

Tasting Notes

Cereals, apples, cinnamon, orange, and a hint of bonfire smoke on the nose. Rounded with sweet orchard fruits, citrus, toffee and vanilla on the palate. The finish has notes of chocolate, nougat, oak and lovely, sweet smoke.

COMFORTING AROMAS OF TOFFEE POPCORN AND COUNTRY BONFIRES. A DELICIOUS ABUNDANCE OF VANILLA AND SWEET APPLE ON THE PALATE. A CREAMY BLEND OF ORANGE AND TOBACCO ACCENTUATES THE SATISFYING FINISH.
